When an author submits a manuscript to International journal for Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (IJMRI), it is implied that the manuscript has not already been published or submitted elsewhere. The manuscript under consideration at IJMRImay not be submitted elsewhere. A PDF of the Paper as a complete file (including tables, figs and plates) and a copy of same in word file need to be submitted.

 

Before submission of paper, you need:

v  Manuscript:Single file contains text, figures, and tables, or separate files whichever you prefer. All required sub points (Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions) should contain in manuscript, including. All Figures and tables containrespective legends. References in the text should be cited by names. In case of two authors, in text: Sharma and Chopra (2000), if in brackets: (Joshi and Joshi, 2000). In case of more than two authors, in text: Smith et al., (2004); if in brackets: (Smith et al., 2004).

Original research papers:

The length of the paper should not exceed 4000 words and 6 diagrams. Original research papers should present unpublished new scientific research findings in the broad areas of Natural sciences. Manuscripts should be written in English language with clear, concise, and grammatically correct. The Objectives of the study should clearly be stated.

Review articles:

A review article concisely reviews recent progress on a specific subject topic of active research. It shouldsummarize the current state of knowledge of the topic by discussing the findings presented in recentresearch papers.The length a review article should not exceed 6000 words and 8 diagrams.Single file contains text, figures, and tables, or separate files whichever you prefer. All required sub points in the Manuscript (keywords, figures, tables (including titles, description, and footnotes), all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided).

 

Short communications:

Short communications are for a concise, but independent report representing a significant contribution to the particular field. Short communicationsshould not exceed 2500 words and 3 diagrams.It is also be peer reviewed and would have all the parts as of a research paper but no introduction. A conclusion isjust like a research paper but without title.


Preparation of Articles

 

Title: The title should be brief, concise, and call attention to the main point of the article. (Font: Times New roman, Size: 14, Bold).

 

Authors Details: Authors are required their full names.

 

Affiliation and corresponding author: The full name of institutions and the subsidiarydepartments should be given. The address of the institution should include the name ofthe institution, city, and country.

 

Running Title:A brief running title should be given on the title page after email of corresponding address. Total words should not exceed 80 characters (8-10 words).

 

Abstract:abstract is brief, comprehensive summary of the article; it reflects the contents of the article quickly. Abstract should be concise between 250-300 words and describes, in a single paragraph. Short communication must also be submitted with an abstract.

Keywords:This is a list important terms relevant to the content of paper and should be differentfrom thetitle. Up to 5 key words should be listed at the bottom of abstract.

 

 

 

Introduction:separate heading is written. This is a brief literature review, statement of the importance of the study, problem or the aim of the experiment. The review of literature should be pertinent to the problem only with proper references. It may contain introduction of your topic, Description of the background, establish your research problem, Specify your objective(s), Map out your paper.

 

Materials and Methods: all the details of the raw materials used in research should be given in this section. It should preferably be divided into sub-heading for each technique and methods. The details of equipment and instruments used in research for articlesshould be givenbriefly, wherever needed.Analytical methods used should be written clearly and for well-known methods the citation should be incorporated. All animal work and human samples used for work must certify by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee. All the results should have statistical analysis and values need to be given where applicable. The graphical representation can also be in the manuscript if needed.

 

Results and Discussion: The results and discussion should be combined or in separate section. This section should be a concise textual description as well as the data presented in tables,graph and figures. All the data should be analyzed statistically. Results should be concise and to the point.The findings should be discussed here; if applicable it should be compare with the results of others.

 

Conclusion: The conclusion is neither summary nor the abstract what findings are of the investigation and its significance.

 

References format:

 

Text: References in the text should be cited by names. In case of two authors, in text: Sharma and Chopra (2000), if in brackets: (Joshi and Joshi, 2000). In case of more than two authors, in text: Smith et al., (2004); if in brackets: (Smith et al., 2004).

List: References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. If several references observed from same author in same year of publication, then the references should be identified by letters 'a', 'b', 'c' after the publication year.

Format of the Articles:

All submissions must strictly follow MLA Stylesheet 7.  The word limit for the articles should not exceed 4000. Every article should contain author's (co-authors') details that includes full name, organizational designation, contact details (city, state, country) on the FIRST PAGE; a suitable abstract (without mentioning author's name etc.) with keywords on the SECOND PAGE and the body of the article may start from the THIRD PAGE onwards.

Languages: English, Bengali.

Peer Review

The Process: We follow a strict blind review of the submitted works. We promise to conceal always the identity of both the reviewers and the contributor from both parties. Primarily the submitted articles will be considered by the editors for the confirmation of the standard and the scope of the journal. If any submitted article fails to fulfil primary standard, the same will be rejected and the author will be communicated. If the editors are satisfied, they will select reviewers for detailed consideration of the articles. Receipt of works is acknowledged as soon as possible (within 3 days).

Review Time: We do not have any system for fast or rapid review nor do we encourage it. Decision on a submitted article along with reviewers’ comments will be communicated to the author within 2 months. Authors should not send any query before the period is over.

 

Anti-Plagiarism Policy

• Every scholar submitting a thesis, dissertation, reports or any other such documents to the SLC shall submit an undertaking indicating that the document has been prepared by him or her and that the document is his/her original work and free of any plagiarism.

• The similarity checks for plagiarism shall exclude the following:

1. All quoted work either falling under public domain or reproduced with all necessary permission and/or attribution.

2. All references, bibliography, table of content, preface and acknowledgements.

3. All small similarities of minor nature.

4. All generic terms, laws, standard symbols and standards equations.
